Review – LG Shine KE970 / U970

Following the success of the Chocolate, the second generation fashion phone from LG is finally here.  Apart from the GSM version under model KE970, the 3G video phone version U970 ($3,380) is exclusively available from 3 Hong Kong.  I personally like the 3G version better because of 3HK tail-made menu, also it’s even cheaper than the GSM version. 

Specification for the 3G version as follow -

• Support High Speed Downlink Packet Access Services (HSDPA), with transmission speeds up to 3.6Mbps

• Advanced 3G mobile system in UMTS mode up to 64kbps data upload

• Support General Packet Radio Services (GPRS), the transmission speed is up to 53.6kbps

• 2 megapixel outward and 300k pixels inward cameras for video and image capture

• 512MB user memory

• Bluetooth and USB connectivity
