First Look – Lenovo Thinkpad X61 Tablet PC

[5 June] Lenovo  officially announced specs and pricing info on the new ThinkPad X61 tablet PC. The X61 features Centrino Pro technology and a touch-sensitive 12.1-inch display.  The tablet version of the X61 comes with a choice of either the L7300 (1.4GHz) or L7500 (1.6GHz) low voltage Intel Core 2 Duo processor, Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics and shock-resistant hard drives with capacities ranging from 80GB to 160GB.

  1. Do you have the SuperView SXGA? Would love to know what outside viewability is like versus the MultiView. I’m dreamin’ of a Thinkpad X61 Tablet

  2. at first glance it is pretty cool, but unless someone forgot to publish some specs it would be totally useless to me.
    firstly NO PCMCIA (PC Card slot), then NO USB PORTS, only ONE 1394 port (and a mini at that) i cant believe these are the specs or this device will be an abysmal failure
