Following my last posts on the Tekkeon Universal Batteries Recharger and the Tekkeon MP3400, I finally received my Tekkeon myPower GO MP1500 last week.  This little gadget weighs in at 4.5 ounces, powers up a number of different lines of mobile phones, digital cameras, PDAs, BlueTooth headphones, PMPs and iPod.  (Basically anything that demands DC in 5V and less).  It comes with 10 different adaptors (details please refer to my past post or here for GearDiary’s detailed review here.  I’m not going to delve into reviewing the product but just to touch on a few points.

  • How much the capacity goes for depends on what type of batteries you uses, the higher capacity (on the rechargeable batteries), the longer it last.
  • It doubles up as a battery recharger for your rechargeable batteries via the USB.
  • Apart from the 10 adaptors, you can use whatever device’s own USB cable and plug it into the MP1500, for example the iPod (doesn’t come with a dedicated iPod plug)

You can get this from Expansys Hong Kong for less than HK$200, but they are currently out of stock.  If you want to know more, post it on comments.
