iPhone 3GS (Import Version) – Hong Kong Street Price for Import Version
[Updated: 13 August 2009] The going rate for 16GB is HK$6,348 (US$814) whilst the 32GB is faring HK$7,358 (US$943) from http://www.cheaphk.com, TEL:3488-4804 FAX:3007-3425.
[7 June 2009] Prices dropped following 3HK’s announcement of the official launch on 10 July. Street price for imported 16GB version now HK$6,680 (US$856) and for the 32GB, HK$7,680 (US$985).
[30 June 2009] Wow, the prices jetted back up this week. Latest 16GB version going for HK$8,398 (US$1,076) and HK$9,668 (US$1,239) for 32GB (available from http://www.cheaphk.com, TEL:3488-4804 FAX:3007-3425)
[24 June 2009] Two days, what a difference it made. With the influx of imported iPhone 3GS, the prices dropped drastically today. The 16GB version of iPhone 3GS is faring HK$5,500 (US$705) whilst the 32GB at HK$6,800 (US872).
[23 June 2009] They’re here in Hong Kong, just 3 days after the offical launch in US, the iPhone 3GS 16GB import version finally made it here. Take a wide guess on the price tag……
HK$8,500 (US$1,090) for 16GB version….ouch.

What about if you already have an iPhone 3G and iPhone Plan?
Probably they will allow you to further add 18 or 24 months to your existing plan.
I wanted to know if you know the official launch date for the iphone 3gs at the apple store. Because I want to order it from the online hong kong apple store and they don’t have a date, all they have is coming soon. So if you could find that out for me, I would appreciate it because I want to buy a factory unlocked iphone 3gs as soon as possible.
Think Apple Store gonna let 3HK offload their iPhone 3GS for a while before they have it on the store. Give and take, couple weeks I would say.
Isn’t the legally unlocked version available in Hk apple store? Why the interest in the import version?
However, for a non-Hk resident like me, that’s not an option.
Anybody know where I can buy a legally unlocked iphone 3gs in hk and for how much?
