First Look – HTC Touch Pro aka HTC Raphael

Okay, so much for the HTC Touch Diamond for now.  Engadget reported on the all new HTC Touch Pro, also known as the HTC Raphael, to replace the TyTN II as the flagship Windows Mobile phone with a full QWERTY keypad.  Initial specs on the HTC Touch Pro according to Engadget and Gizmodo, “WiFi, HSPA with a solid 7.2Mbps on the downstream, Bluetooth, 2.8-inch VGA display, Windows Mobile 6.1 featuring HTC’s TouchFLO 3D interface, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a half gig of ROM, and 288MB of RAM, microSD slot, GPS, video calling and a 1350 mAh battery that gives 8 hours of talk time.”

Phone expected out by this summer.

  3. This is going to be the flagship product put up against the iPhone (don’t worry, I’m not a fan-boy)…

    The question is whether it’s a serious WinMo contender. The answer will be based on price + touchflo advancement… The apps need to be insanely easy to work with.

    It looks sexy. As long as it’s not too big, it’s in good shape.
