  1. Yes it is true. I picked mine up at 3HK and because I’m porting over my number from SmarTone-Vodafone, the number wont be active on 3HK until 22nd. So in the meantime, I’m using my Smartone SIM on the iPhone 3G as advised by the 3HK sales rep.

    All I had to do was insert the SIM, connect to iTunes, and it recognizes the SIM and it downloaded the carrier’s information (ie. Access Point of SmarToneVodafone) to the iPhone.

  2. Mine had problem getting the data settings from CSL? Is there anyway to input the information manually?

  3. oops… got it. I type in HKCSL in the settings -> general _> network -> APN then restart phone.
