Cannot Delete Individual Photo off Photo Stream? Apple, Who Are We Kidding?
Now this is a real bummer, guys over at MacRumours forum have been discussing this issue since June with the Developers’ Kit and still there are no work around to delete individual pics in your Photo Stream. The only reason to delete any photos, such as the ones that you should not have taken and afraid will start showing up on your iOS devices or even worse, pops up on your Apple TV in front of your dearly beloved is a freaking nightmare.
So….the best workaround so far is log into your iCloud account, click your name on the top right corner, click on the advanced option, and set reset Photo Stream. Next go to each iOS device, under settings, click on iCloud, turn off Photo Stream on ALL your iOS devices, turn them back on in a minute, and voila, back to square one.
Though this weeks, Apple should come up with a way to delete individual photo locally…….what are you guys at Apple are thinking?

Bruce Lee and the Tao of Photography 李小龍截拳道之道與攝影之道
A while back I came across this article “Bruce Lee and the Tao of Photography” from the guys at Invisible Photographer Asia and cannot stop going back and reread it a couple more times. Everytime I read this short article, I pick up a bit more of the true Tao Of Jeet Kune Do or Way Of The Intercepting Fist from Bruce and how the author relates it to the true Tao to photography. I’m extracting the article here to share with you all and another article on Bruce explaining the Tao of Jeet Kune Do 截拳道之道 (in Chinese). Enjoy the read (fairly long).
Learn the principle, abide by the principle, and dissolve the principle.
Learn and practice the principles of photography, then break the rules to form your own method of photographing.
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend.
Don’t be constricted by your own training, knowledge and understanding of photography. Be flexible, fluent, adaptable to change, as and when the situation calls for it.
Man, the living creature, the creating individual, is always more important than any established style or system.
At the end of the day, photography is never about the craft and the tools, it’s about humanity.
Life in a Day – 80,000 submissions and 4,500 hours of footage from 192 countries
What happens when you send a request out to the world to chronicle, via video, a single day on Earth? You get 80,000 submissions and 4,500 hours of footage from 192 countries. Producer Ridley Scott and Oscar-winning director Kevin Macdonald took this raw material — all shot on July 24, 2010 — and created Life in a Day, a groundbreaking, feature-length documentary that portrays this kaleidoscope of images we call life. National Geographic is bringing it to theaters starting in July. Prepare to be amazed and you will!
In theaters: 29 July 2011

SLOW Upgrdade to OS X Lion?
Is it just me or is the download really slow? Just wondering while downloading the Lion to my MBA before I even dare to set it on the iMac. Well, guess I’m bored waiting.
23:00 Started downloading
23:45 Done downloading, installation commenced
24:15 Done installation
so not too bad after all on a MBA
