At last week’s ITU communication show in town, LG introduced the new Windows mobile Pocket PC Chocolate phone, the LG KC1.  It features a 2.8″ QVGA touch screen, 2 megapixel camera and microSD slot.  Judging by the picture, it’s probably 3-G ready with video call function (the camera in front).  The phone is currently released in Korea, but release date in Hong Kong is unknown yet.

  2. Well I uses the Dopod 838 pro (see my earlier review at https://hongkongphooey.wordpress.com/2006/11/28/in-depth-review-dopod-838pro/) which I think is pretty neat. Apart from that, there’s the larger size Dopod 900 (with 3G and video call function) which I’m selling now, hehe and there’s a smaller one the Dopod C800 (without 3G and video call function), you can find them here at Dopod’s site, http://www.dopodasia.com/Dopod/Hongkong/T_CH/Products.

  3. hey thanks buddy you’re fast! i’ve never heard of this brand before but if its price is okay… i might consider it. i don’t think i like 3g, but just something like c800 would be more than enough. just don’t wanna carry around a planner doesn’t look cool =[ but i’m curious about the rate for these phones? would you happened to sell phones as a minor business so perhaps later on you might also sell c800?? hehhee (that still have to leave it for the time when i’m back in hk… tho)

  4. No I don’t sell phones on the side, just a tech freak. BTW, think HTC carries the same phones under their brand in US (as these are all OEM phones).
